Adding equilizer to e46 non HK system
I have installed 6.5" 2 ohm subs in doors and rear deck. Installed new tweeters and mid ranges, all 4 ohm. Retained stock head unit and amplifier. Tapped rear speaker cables before amp with Loc and installed Memphis Audio 12" and MA amp thru center of ski pass opening. All run good and sound good. But I I want to add an EQ to smooth things out. I understand the stock amp handles crossovers and want to keep it that way. It suits my needs. How can I just add an eq to the system without changing my setup. Bass and treble on HU does not do enough. And I know the amp also has certain drop offs at certain Hz depending on which driver it is connected to. I just want to simply tweak the sound before amp, of after amp. I know before is better. I just want a freaking eq to tailor to my hearing. Please advise anyone having the skill set.

The equalizer needs to have both input and output signals that balanced differential.
