A BMW independent shop. Little BMW garages. Check out EAS. They are in OC. They can code lots of other things for you.

Is Autoenginuity as good as a gt1 or are they the same thing?

Autoenginuity is a totally different diagnostics program but is fully capable. I replaced my smg clutch myself and used the autoenginuity to teach in the clutch. I reset it every once in a while to keep it nice and crisp. A shop might charge you like 100 bucks. Autoenginuity costs around 450 but its plug and play and you can use it whenever you want. Might be a good option for you.

Check out Pit Stop motor tuning in Burbank. The owner is highly trained and he really knows his way around an m3. He owns a sick E92 M3 and an RS4. I get all my work done there...
