As a responsible citizen I will be donating my refund to the government so that I may pay my portion of US debt.

I usually get around 3 grand for a refund I know it makes zero financial sense but I like getting a solid check in April
I usually buy something and invest the rest
I'm going to grab a go pro black and a new mtn bike helmet rest will go into a stock of some sort

I half ass guess my quarterly estimates and usually come in within $300 of each of state and federal when I file my return. Sometimes I owe a little interest. Cheaper than paying an accountant to do the math for me.

Going to use it to help put a new roof on the homestead. Original construction / roof goes back to 1988. I'd say I'm overdue huh?

1988? That doesn't seem that old to me.

A properly maintained roof in PA should last 25 years

Poor venting? Water damage
