Best bet is to find someone not up with technology (Internet) and buy from them used. I picked up an AR last week for a great price.

I almost drown! If I didn't dump the 10,000 rounds of ammo (everything I own) I was carrying in my fanny pack... I would've went down like a brick

Lol well ill just assume that that's what it's about then. At least the one and only gun to my name is safe and sound in a creek where I dropped it today during "rapid kayaking time"

I find this silly, especially when living in a state with no gun registration.

Search classifieds of gun forums. You gotta be FAST! Cause others will jump on it. If you find someone that isn't aware of all the stuff going on, you won't get raped in price. I "overpaid" by standards of a couple months ago, but for today's standards... I hit a home run

Also interested on your opinions if I should look for an AR lower, even if it ends up being 350 to 400...
