Should I buy a silver or is it worth it to spend the extra dough and get the black?

The black is leaps and bounds better IMO. Comes with the WIFI remote which is an $80 accessory to buy down the road if you decide you want it. It also has better low light performance, higher frame rate options and higher resolutions.

Here is a quick video of the beginning of my dive in Roatan a couple weeks ago. I will have more up later.

And one using my suction cup on my car. Supposed to have GoPro taking a look into the whistling...

How'd you like Roatan?

I've thought about a GP for diving, but I assume that below a dozen ft or so, you'd still need to have external lighting?

Epic is another brand of POV camera. This vid: is pretty standard POV stuff, but the model rocket at 1:14 is !

Nice vid, What frame rate were you shooting with? It seems like some of the slow motion sections were a bit jerky.

Ya I am trying to shoot most of my video in 1080 which is only 30 fps in the Hero2. Its adequate but also could be better

Roatan is amazing! I cannot wait to get back. I have more videos, but for some reason when they get almost uploaded to youtube the upload fails. And we went down about 55 ft and it still shot pretty good video!

GoPro video of the week - Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012 - Downhill Ice Cross

Cool stuff, looks like it would be fun and scary.

Anyone else have a lot of trouble with their Hero3 freezing and being buggy?
