Picked up a harbor freight safe for $200. Wanted I little extra protection instead of the "under the bed" thing. I have it lagged into the floor joists and into the wall in about eight different places. I'm going to make it hard for someone if they want to move it lol.

Finally got my pistol permit in NY (Nassau County to be exact).

Seriously pain in the ass process to go through (6+months, fingerprinting, 4 references, multiple documents signed, notaries....)

Time to go shopping

So this is different than the .408 Cheytac?

Yep. Same case as the .408, but necked down to a .375 bullet. Sierra offers a 350gr SMK bullet, but CheyTac still makes a solid 350gr bullet for it. It has a higher BC and MV than the .408 counterpart.

Got 70 rounds of .45 loaded this evening after getting everything set up. 240 gr FMJ with 10.0 gr +/- .1 Accurate #7.

OAL between 1.230 and 1.240 inches.

With any luck, the bullet will come out the pointy end and the back end will stay intact.
