Any BMW FS: F10 M5 Illuminated ZHP Style Shift Knob

Brand new. Only opened to take pics. Boot must be removed to make it work in your e46. $130 shipped to lower 48. This is for 6 speed only. Just to clarify.

Its not necessary to remove boot to work in an E46. I installed one last weekend. Search my posts to see pics.

Did the f10 boot frame fit in the e46 trim or did you transplant in the e46 frame?

I transplanted the frame. just make sure you give as much material to the top/front part, when I put mine in 4th or 6th it pulls slightly on the frame. Not enough to be a problem, but I might redo it at a later date

Hmmm how much shorter would this be than the stock m3 shift knob. I was considering getting a ssk and a zhp knob

Power was taken from the cigarette lighter illumination. I simply used wire crimps like these to connect to those wires. I cut nothing, not even the original plug on the shiftknob. Once I had the boot on the new frame install took minutes.

The shift knob is 3/4" shorter them my stock E46 knob.

I installed this on my M6... It is way brighter than the one that came in my M6 & the one that came in the E46 M3... like 3-times as bright.

is it possible to take the shift knob off from the boot it comes attached to and just put it into whatever boot you want or have?

modifying the boot it comes with seems like a hassle
