One has to see the car in person to appreciate the condition it is in. And don't forget the mods. Some would comment that mods don't count as a plus for the total value of the car. But, my mods are not cheap a$$ after market stuff that spoil the look and alter the performance of the car. They are mostly OEM and more importantly, for the owner's convenience (Sport seats, sports steering wheel, DICE kit etc. to name a few). Thanks.

Immaculate condition. Good luck finding your new ZHP.

Coworker just got an equivalent 330ci for 6150. I'm still interested but at 5500.

Oops! wrong quote. That reply was meant for that douche who keeps quoting the KBB value. Mistake's been corrected.

I'm just being realistic with what the cars are actually selling for. I understand that op has a sentimental attachment to his car, causing him to reject reality; which is certainly his prerogative. I am making a serious cash offer that will remain on the table. If op gets his asking price, I applaud him. If he decides to sell for what the realistic value is, so he can move on to his dream zhp, then I will be here with cash ready to go.

Who decides what "the realistic value" is? You?

Nope. The market does. Supply and Demand. And clearly the market is telling you that the car isn't worth 8500, otherwise it would have sold already...

I'm conflicted over the value on this car. The mods are great and $5,500 is clearly too low but it is still an automatic 325i with 103,xxx miles on the odo so $8,500 strikes me as way too high. Maybe something around $7,000? For comparison Austin335i is selling a much lower mileage 2002 330i for an asking price of $8,950.
