FS rear seat delete coupe/m3 $150

I have 10 sets of rear seat deletes that will fit any e46 coupe or m3 coupe. They are wrapped in black felt and will match the oem black carpet perfectly. This mod saves a good 50lbs and looks really nice.

Here's what it looks like on my car. The only difference is the top part of mine is wrapped in red suede.

Asking $150

My Ride: slower than yours
Does this make the car noisier?

Your car looks really nice, like the flow.

Yes. because the seats act as insulation. The rear upper portion is made out of a sound deadening material, but doesn't do the same job as the seats would. The bottom, is made from a non sound deadening material, so you will more easily hear things hitting under the car there.

Am I right Stav?

Yup. Couldn't have said it any better myself.

The top part would most likely fly off with the top down since it's press fitted

What do you use... 5/8" plywood?

Wonder if you can make it lighter using 1/2"?

the goal is weight saving right?
Im sure 1/2" will still hold up if you need to throw someone back there
In an emergency.

Also, maybe you make the front edge 45.
It would flow right into the floor carpet really nice and is really easy to do.
Just thinking at loud. Great work!

I use 5/16's plywood on the bottom. It's the thinnest it could get without wobbling around. It's also perforated plywood which sheds some weight even more. I personally wouldn't put anyone back there period..it's not safe lol.

As for the floor carpet, I'm not sure I understand the 45 degree..it does line up with the edge perfectly though.

Ok, well 5/16" is practically a 1/4", wow, cool.
By 45 I meant the front lip where it meets the floor carpet.
You know cut it across use a 45 slant to your circular saw if you use a guide, or a table saw set at 45. Just would make a better transition off the floor to the front edge of the board. Looks great, not knocking your work, just think it would look a bit more polished.
