But id suggest a new tyre, particularly under hard driving.
I ordered new tyres on Wednesday post trying to get it fixed. Was told the tyres would arrive by Thursday so booked in to get them done on Saturday. Saturday came around, went to get them fitted and they weren't there. After expressing my disappointment and refusing to pay him a cent the guy to put some used Toyo Proxes TR's on for me that had a bit of inside edge wear. Very minor but technically illegal, still it was free and better than a flat tyre..

We agreed I'd go back in a couple of weeks to get the new ones fitted. But since he screwed me around and I now have time up my sleeve I'm just going to order 4 Conti Contactsport DW's as they are the best tyre I can get which are under the 1k tax threshold.

So yeah, 2 decent tyres fitted for free to tide me over
