In the market for a new car ~40k

Im in the market for a new car and was wondering what would fit my budget. I want a pretty quick car that is a little roomy. Ive been seriously thinking of a 2010 550i. So something similar to a 550i maybe? What would you guys suggest?

I wanted about that, so I bought a G37. I might have went with the 5-series instead, but the long-term cost (I tend to keep my vehicles for 6-8 years) comparison of the two didn't justify (for my needs/wants) going with the 5-series over the Infiniti. There are advantages in the 5-series over the G37, but they weren't worth the extra cost to me. I'm sure they are to others though. That's what I decided on though and I've been happy with that decision.

F10 535i m sport. At least u get better gas. Can you even get a 550 for sub 40k?

If you have 40k to spend and you want a roomy, reliable car I'd rather go new. If I had to go used I wouldn't go anything below mid to late 2012. That's just me though because I guess I'm at the stage where I'd prefer practicality over looks..i.e. a reliable 4x4 over an M5..etc.

You can also buy a used Porsche for that money. If you go German, you should go the best.

More than likely, yes, plus it will get around 12-13 mpg tops.
