Yea I personally dont like apple too. More of a p.c. guy. More of the new generation are just hype about apple stuff.

apples and oranges my friend. 1st I wasn't bitching and even admitted that it was my fault for the current status of my car.

With every convo with you, you are searching for the answer you want to hear, not the one that is given to you.......

You love photog and now you are making videos........ the logical thing would be to think ......... "I should probably save for a mac or something that is more compatible to what I do and my interests... " ........ instead you have put yourself through hell with these laptops and the back and forth....go out to dinner and drinks all the time in LA, complain about not have money, etc..............

How many times did I tell you to fight the dealer about your taillight issues? Yet you kept compaining about it and didnt do it....I went out of my way, sent you the TSB, told you what and gave you advise....... and what, still didn't do it did you?

nevermind............ I really don't want to get into this convo with you.....I am not one to judge others...... but sounds like your priotiries are all over trhe place......

how is "go buy a mac" a realistic answer when i just bought a new laptop?

if i could be a fortune teller and had foreseen the color management issue (which is not something i have ever dealt with or even known of its existence), i would have bought a diff laptop to begin with
i have an LCD monitor that's been collecting dust ... a $10 adapter will let me use the monitor with my new laptop and perhaps it will resolve the color issue
i think trying this is the smartest thing i can do instead of going out and buying a $1300+ laptop

go out to dinner and drinks in LA "all the time" ... very subjective because i actually don't go out much
and last night was actually quite affordable. $60/person which included food, drinks, gratuity, AND everyone covering my brother-in-law's portion of the bill

Hey how did you fix the two corner of your sagging front bumper. Did you adjust the brackets or dod you zip tie it together.
