Random Love Line postings

i am talking to a few girls no smashing yet i am still trying to recover from my financial problems from last year. But it does feel good talking to different women, just those moments that dig at me. I know they'll pass in time. I cut her out and those associated with her and she won't come back thankfully.

Yea i was unemployed for a few months and before that i was trying to help her while she unemployed (she works for a boarding school) I over extended myself. I didn't plan naturally to be unemployed. That coupled with having to move at the last minute. Just a giant snowball of bad situations on top of each other, some of which were as a result of the break up. Needless to say I am starting 2013 off to a rough start.

I've been in a similar situation. All I can tell you is make short attainable goals, and focus on yourself for a while. Every time you finish a goal, make new ones. That and the typical get back on the horse line for dating, but don't jump into anything. Enjoy yourself for a while.

tell that to my libido damn thing is craving some attention he has been ignored.

wow... found a great girl about two days before I left California for the midwest... super bummed. We just made out and cuddled, slept next to each other, and generally enjoyed each others company. We also got drunk as mules.

I miss her... wish I wasn't smart enough to not drop out of college to follow some dream girl I hung out with for two days...

It's ok at least you're at that point, can't wait for that myself but think of the kind of women you will attract once you've gotten that piece of paper.

Met a girl on my trip in cancun, swiss babe, had a fling for a few days before we parted ways...sucks don't it.

spot on to what I have almost always done. I feel like "dates" are always put people in uncomfortable positions and I always try to "hangout" instead. Like that one guy said...“I don’t like to take girls out. I like to have them join in on what I’m doing — going to an event, a concert.” If a girl needs to be wined and dined before she even knows me I feel like it's a waste of time and money. I want to know the girl and see her in the real world first and not a formal "date" environment. The last "date" I went on was great but you could tell it was just a little uncomfortable.

Now this doesn't mean I wont take girls out. I enjoy doing that but not before I even know them.

I'm not crazy about doing some romantic date either, most girls these days are pretty stuck up to begin with. In my age category anyway (22-25)

I didn't ask my fiancee out on a real date until a month after we first started our physical relationship. The first two weeks were rendezvouses at bars late at night that eventually led to hookups. After that point we did spend time alone. However, it was more of hanging out and grabbing lunches/dinners at the spur of the moment. As if we were buddies who were romantically interested in each other.

Now I make it a point to plan dates even though we're getting married. It lets her know that I still care and that I'm not too lazy to think about here. That I actually want to do something with her without it being a spur of the moment "let's grab dinner at this restaurant" mentality.

Yeah it's all about moderation..grabbing drinks with tappas? Sounds like a cool relaxed evening, two people hanging out..expensive dinner reservations for a 2nd or 3rd date? Pass

I guess the definition of a date varies from person to person. I guess hanging out could be considered a date for some people. I used to think that way now it depends.
