FS: E46 coilovers, sway bars, brake pads, filters, SSK + more
1. Ground Control Track/School coilovers.
These cost me a pretty packet to get to Australia after the shipping and taxes. These are top end coilovers (search this forum for reviews). They have a fully constant spring rate to help predictability with handling and the car grips the road like sh1t on carpet. These have done 11,000km so they're basically new. Surprisingly comfortable on the street. Not a slammed look and only lowers it about 20-30mm from stock which is great for the crappy roads we have and you don't want to look fully sik. Kit comes with: 2 Koni single adjustable struts 2 SHORT Koni single adjustable rear shocks 4 Eibach ERS springs, driver school or track event rate 4 Ground Control bump stops (made in Germany) 2 Rear Ride Height Adjusters 1 Pair front Camber Plates 1 Pair rear upper shock mounts F: 440lb/inch R: 550lb/inch Fits all E46 models except M3. http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=692/CA=177 $1500 ![]() 2. Whiteline adjustable sway bars. Fits all E46 models except M3. BBF11Z Front Sway bar - 27mm (http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=BBF11Z) BBR11Z Rear Sway bar - 20mm (http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=BBR11Z) $400 for both. ![]() 3. *SOLD* OEM M division performance disc brakes + bedded in StopTech pads 4. StopTech 309 Performance Pads for 330 only. Great initial bite, low dust, no fade. What more could you want? Full set including brake wear sensors for $150. http://www.stoptech.com/products/brake-pads 5. Front strut tower reinforcement plates $30 6. MANN oil filters *SOLD* each. 5 total. 7. Air filter *SOLD* 8. MANN cabin micro filter $30 9. Fuel filter *SOLD* 10. OEM grey centre console cup holder $30 11. OEM short shift kit (new). Comes with Z4 3.0L shifter, plastic washer, bearing pin, shifter arm bushing, shifter rod joint, shifter ball bushing, shifter bushing and shifter circlip for a full shifter refresh. $150 All second hand items are now out of the car. Please contact me if you have questions or want a postage quote. Make me an offer if you think the prices are a little out of reach, I may try to meet you half way. HI Dan,
Seems like you are giving up something good here. One wonders whats convinced you to do this... I'm interested in some coil-overs. Whats all this about extra noise from the camber plates on your units? Did you notice it at all in your vert? Whats the difference in ride like with the springs you have? Cheers, Rob |

Hi Rob,
I haven't really noticed any extra noise coming from the suspension or camber plates. I do have a vert though, so it has its own squeaks and rattles from the extra chassis flexibility! The ride is definitely firmer than stock sport suspension. The only thing I can compare it to is an E46 M3 which I took for a short drive a couple of years ago. It was slightly firmer than that. It's not uncomfortable unless you drive over potholes or cobblestone roads. It's surprisingly good on unsealed roads though. Starting to sell up as I'll probably get a dedicated daily and a dedicated track car. I can't afford to have my daily off the road if I were to have an accident on track as I use it every day.

Prices updated! I'd rather sell these good bits to an enthusiast than to leave them on the car.
Everything is still on the car so I'm happy for people to test it out before purchasing (provided the car hasn't sold yet).

I believe that they will fit all E46s except the M3's. As an indication, 2-3 day freight to Sydney will be <$100 with signed delivery. Edit: Just saw your other thread on how low you actually want your car. I think you quoted 1-1.5" from the ground. These definitely won't do that, and pretty sure that you'd need to go for airbags to get it that low...

Updated prices again.
Shipping for coilovers is $100 to anywhere in Australia, and less if you're in Sydney/Adelaide. Shipping for sways is $50 anywhere in Australia.

Will you sell the 4 struts alone?

I'd prefer to sell them all as a package. The struts were individually tuned by Ground Control to match the springs at time of purchase so they would probably work best as a package too.

interested in the sway bars... is additional support required for the end link mounting points due to the extra stress on the chassis ?

I've got a set of new front sway bar end links (I reused the stock ones) that I'll also be providing with the sway bars. Rears come with a set of Whiteline end links. Sways also come with stiffer front and rear Whiteline bushes.
