Said it was his for $37k

Ill even cut a deal with the buyer and throw in a brand new set of 5 VMR V710 wheels in gunmetal for an extra $500. I'm reasonably flexible haha.

They have always gone private if they have a customer wanting a car. If I was you I would take the 35k. 40k for a high km pre update M3 is up there even considering it is in the best colour combo.

I've lowered the price a little to $37990 I think that's pretty fair considering the condition and warranty etc. I mean I only purchased this car 4 months ago for $39500 so it's not unreasonable

$5,800.00 was the repair charge. I can probably find the bill somewhere.

Best of luck with the sale mate, I'm sure she shouldn't be hard to shift in the current market of E46 M3's price dropping.

Just an update guys a potential buyer got me to take my car to BMW to get a pre purchase inspection done.

The only bad thing to come out of it are front tyres need replacing soon and a few dead pixels on my monitor, otherwise it's all great and no mechanical or electrical faults or issues.

They also said my subframe repair was done incredibly well and wanted the details of who did it so that they can recommend them to future people in my position. There is no sign of any other cracks and said its as strong as it could be. So that's good to know. Anyway if anyone has any interest let me know, might be gone by Sunday.

That was a sudden change! I though you had decided to keep it?

Happy with the price?

Yeah I was keeping it due to a poor market but still kept it for sale just in case and over the weekend a guy came and made a good offer so I took it. Didn't really want to sell but had to because of my circumstances (baby on the way) and I got $35k for it so I wouldn't have got that again. So yeah she's gone

Congrats on the sale. 35K is pretty good imo, prices are diving.

I've heard a few people say this. I am starting to think Commodores are quality built cars now

I wouldn't say they are quality built compared to an M3, however that are cheaper to run and fix and overall are built to go for a long time. Honestly I am considering a commodore simply because it's cheaper and simple. But M3s are in a class of their own especially at the price they are now. But I will also admit a FPV F6 310 spanked me in my M3 before I sold it just last week, they are a hell of a car!

haha I was only joking about commodores being a great build. But in saying that I nearly bought a commodore just so I could tow a jetski. However, they are not the best on petrol consumption and the build quality inside the car just so different after owning a M3.

I've driven a pretty modified XR6 turbo ute. Very quick on the straight. Very different around corners.
