Question New Sound System

Hey, so I was thinking of putting my subs into my e46, but they are kinda heavy. I am asking those of you who have a bit of a heavy system in your trunk. Right now in city I am getting about 18.5 mpg and my worry is that the extra weight is going to kill my gas mileage. any input?

Your right foot will have much more of an effect than the subs.
I've got a 12" with amps and processor and didn't notice any difference.

Enjoy it!
Post some pics when you get it all done.
Have a look in the Audio section, too.

Enjoy no trunk space, and unbalanced bass. Seriously the lack of trunk space is why I invested in quality speakers for big bass when I want it and nice sounding music when I dont. I had 12 JL w3 v3-4.

As far as "extra weight" killing your gas mileage? 18.5 is really bad and I assume that its your driving style. I drive city everywhere I go and I get 22.5 on the same engine. I dont floor it every where I go.
