Seriously, what the hell, where is all the ammo?

Im looking to get a Ruger 10/22 for some plinking, and have been looking to get a reserve supply of my favorite CCI Mini Mags...they are out of stock everywhere. What gives? I understand the rush on 223 ammo, but 22LR? WTF is going on?

got 3 boxes on saturday and it was a huge win. checked 2 more places today, sold out of target and crit defense.

I know the feeling, since most normal range ammo....9mm and stuff is bought up and the paranoia started, people are buying up all the 22LR. I can still find bricks of 22LR out here but CCI MiniMags are all out. I only have 400 rounds left. They are the only things that feed in my Mosquito and Kimber with 22LR slide. I have several bricks of crap 22LR that my Umarex/HK MP-5 22LR eats like candy though.

You just have to be keep checking the shelves, and asking for stock dates till the storm eases down. I know it sucks for all of us sport/plinking shooters.

I do, and I love that thing. I practice with my Glock 19 to keep sharp, but for fun, I'll pound through 250 rounds of CCIs through my mosquito. Never had a problem. Had one FTF, and that's it.

I still have 1000rds of mini mags, but wanted to replenish for my soon to be obtained Ruger 10/22, but I guess I'll shoot whatever through it since it doesn't require specific ammo.

Your 10/22 isn't going to be picky like your Sig. Just grab whatever .22LR you see and your 10/22 will probably be fine with it. My 10/22 and 22/45 have yet to reject any ammo and I have shot all sorts through it.

Just snagged another 5000 round case of CCI Standard Velocity...I watched 130, 5000 round cases sell in under 10minutes...limited to 1 per order freaking insane.

What was the case price? I haven't shopped for .22LR in a while since I still have a few thousand rounds, but I'm going to buy another case if I can find it.

I bought cci standard velocity which is a little pricier then most bulk .22 but it was $300 shipped for 5000 rounds
