I'm glad I supported this company with the purchase of both my stripped lowers, money well spent.

Proud to have my stripped Noveske lower + upper! Now I need to find a complete 16" Noveske upper or just one of their barrels.

The law doesn't take effect for a while yet, doesn't it? Or is it already in place? I thought I heard there was some 30/60/90 day implementation schedule or something.

Aside from that, try to find a pre-ban that someone will sell you in-state. Can you do FTF deals up there? If so, drive out of state, find someone willing to sell you one that they've had for a while, buy it, and bring it back in with you. Then, register it. They won't know any different I don't think; if they run the serial number, they'll see that it was made prior to enactment of the ban.

I *think* FTF sales of long guns are legal between states...not sure, but if it is, you might still have a chance if you're willing to pay out the ass

im not sure about implementation. i know they are allowing a year to register. under the new law we are not allowed to do FTF only FFL. we can still do personal sales, it just has to be done thru FFL. no online gun/ammo transactions. i was really hoping to pick up a noveske stripped lower w.o getting raped but i guess i have no choice at this point.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to advocate breaking state or federal law, but I know I would be looking for ways to circumvent it to get one registered.

For instance, I would consider buying one here in FL (pre-ban, FTF) and taking it to my house in NY and registering it there. Trouble is, the main reason I wanted one up there was a) because a pre-ban gun wasn't neutered under NYS law and b) pre-ban 30 round mags were allowed. Under the old law, I could have the exact same setup I have here in FL, just on a pre-ban lower. Now, as I understand it, even if you register it, when you do so it must be in a legal configuration (no flash hider, no collapsible stock, etc.), regardless if it's pre-'94.

All incentive for me to go and do anything like that went out the window when they changed the registration requirement and the magazine laws. Now, i don't care about having an AR there...wish they wouldn't have changed it up, but I'm sorta glad I didn't waste the money

Like hell.... Screw those laws, there against your constitutional right and its our duty to break them.

Just go out of state and buy a lower at a gun show...

Come down to VA, plenty of lowers and mags floating around down here.

Yeah, well I'm in FL most of the time. I don't need an AR in New York if they're going to pull all this shit

I am going to laugh when their crime rates skyrocket like they did in Chicago and DC.

I'm really bummed out about Noveske not being at SHOT. I'm really eager to see if the Gen2 N6 is coming to fruition. I haven't heard anything about it other than speculation, and I'd love to know if something actually is materializing.

Send the staff a video telling them you'll show them your tits if they divulge some information haha. Would be hilarious
