difference between these two cf trunk lids?

Vorsteiner-$1610
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...46-3-series-m3

other-$425
http://www.dtm-spec.net/v3/carbon-fi...Path=58_37_178

obviously the frist one is a vorsteiner, but does that mean it has to be 4 times the price?

If you can't tell the obvious difference, the cheap one is the right one for you.

The VS besides being a 1x1 weave and much better CF process has no trunk handle and recessed license plate are like the original CSL. The lip and horizontal crease line identical to oem. Also I'm not sure they make them still for the sedan?

The cheap one is made in china and the weave and weight will be not as good. But for most this is not an issue. They can come pretty good. But the main difference is this is made for a trunk handle and same license plate area. It's basically a mold of the stock trunk with an added duc-bill lip on the top. These they also make for sedans fitments.

What has said is true. However, our trunk is still much lighter then stock. Also, the weave is very well done. A plus for our trunk however is our clear coat, which unlike others, will never yellow or fade. This has been a known issue for the VCSL products. Any other questions, please feel free to PM me.
