For my 330xi should I go 5w-30 or 5w-40...they don't have 0w-40

Neither.. 0w30 is on sale.. just search... it does not pull up when you click on the offer banner

these are the only 2 castrol oils that meets LL01 spec available in the US.

I bought 5 qts at $30 in autozone last month. Yah, my car leaks oil at VCG and I have to keep on feeding it oil. Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so I can change the VCG and CCV.

May be time to go to advanced auto now for a stock up.

just bought 24 quarts for $100. All Castrol was BOGO at my local advance. Had to ask the guy to get three more cases from the back.

That makes sense. I always buy 10 qts at a time as well. My car leaks oil at VCG so I need twice as much between the regular changes to top it up till warm weather kicks in to replace it.
