LaRue Shipping Lowers For Standing Orders

Just got off the phone with LaRue while I was checking up on an order for a PredatOBR. Basically, the gist of the convo went something like:

Standby for a phone call from LaRue. They are going through their lowers and calling folks with standing orders. They will charge our cards 2/3 of the invoice. We will be shipped our lowers to have in our grubby little hands in case the ban goes in place immediately. Once LaRue is ready, we will be shipping our lowers back to them for final assembly to the upper.

I have no further information to relay on other than that they are starting with March and will continue until Mark says stop. I didn't press for more information and wanted to get off the phone ASAP so they can get back to manning the phone.

Numerous companies are starting to do this. FYI in case you want to place orders.

Awesome! I love my LaRue lower, and would love to get another one. I assume you must call them to order one right? I check on their site daily and it's never available.

Yep, need to place orders tonight then. Larue, Noveske, Seekins, and BCM

Think it's the same thing for uppers, or no? I would assume not since the lower is considered the firearm......

Yeah I don't understand the rush on uppers at all. They're very likely to not be affected at all by any proposal

Seriously. I can't find uppers for a reasonable price anywhere.

It's bonkers...I made a $700 profit on an upper the other day. I bought it in the morning, threw it on GB, and it was sold by 11:00 that night. I don't understand it

I'm looking for a complete upper by LaRue, Daniel Defense, Noveske or PSA but I'm in no rush so I'll wait until the prices come down to a sane level.

Exactly, I've been lying low looking for the right deals

Can you buy a lower (stripped or otherwise) from these companies directly? Like on Noveskes site I only see where you can buy or build an entire rifle. I'd love to just call up Noveske and order a stripped lower.

Haha you and a million others. I think noveske only sells lowers through distributors and bcm stopped selling lowers and larue did too

Place orders through vendors or through suppliers? I have a standing order through delta3 but haven't been able to reach them or anything. Should I try ordering somewhere else? I can't seem to find a vendor with any lowers available for order.

I have 4 noveske lowers on order from delta3 as of the 13th of jan
