Income is a fairly skewed stat, it's best to look at the median. But yes, it's not a very big number.

I never finished college (1 year at a CC), but I took over a family business... it's not what I originally wanted to do though. I was enrolled in Delta Connection Academy to become a commercial pilot, but then I was offered the family business and I took it.

If you want to make real coin go into a trade, There are kids coming out of high school and working in the oil sands and drilling rigs making 28 an hour
. Become a welder and get your B pressure ticket. Im not working right not but if your a red seal welder here in Canada is Usually around the $150 an hour mark

Sounds like that "useless piece of paper" could do you some good.

You don't need a useless piece of paper let alone two to do "independent research". The 8 year old down the street did some "independent research" on what video game he should buy next and had it cross-referenced with his best friend (i.e., peer reviewed).

ITT: broke college graduates who are/were suffocated by student debt and now making average or a little better salary trying to justify what they did is the only way to go.

If most wisely invested the money they spent on a big university, they'd never have to worry about retirement.
