Different Diameter in Front vs. Rear?
Is it okay to run a different overall diameter in the front than the rear?
Example Front: 225/35/18 Rear: 255/35/18 From what I've seen, it shouldn't be a problem(people run staggered set-ups all the time) - I just want to be 100% sure. Thanks, TF3N |

so the answer is no.
225/40s up front and your fine. The more it is off, the more your DSC will kick in. Terrible idea in the winter especially. |

Get a 225/40/18 up front instead of a 225/35/18.

Thanks guys.
I ended up not going with the set anyway. I'll be sure to match the diameter in the future. Just out of curiosity, does the same rule apply if the car is equipped with ASC rather than DSC? From what I've been told ASC has no control over the front wheels. |

Same rule applies for every car with ABS regardless if they have stability control or not unless it can be programmed in to the ABS strategy somehow by a 3rd party aftermarket.
