Is this a bad wheel bearing????

Is this bad or just normal play? it spins fine and feels fine while I am spinning it

do you mean when I spin it? It is quiet and smooth. no binding. The other side has about the same play too

When the wheel is mounted, do you get the same amount of play when you shake it?

I meant is it noisy when you are cornering?

Its hard to say I had a bad rght lwr control arm bushing and balljoint and torn cv so I am replacing all the joints in the front end. both sides are apart. I also found a small chip off the chrome on the outer edge of the bearing race. I will post a pix soon.

Might as well do motor mounts if you need to drop the subframe to drill that out.

I would replace all of those bolts, the subframe bolts, and the strut pinch bolts too.

don't wanna drop subframe. I was thinking of using the cyllinder the bolt threads into as my center. I was thinking of making a drill guide that slides over tubes and then I will have the right drill angle and close to center if not right on.A notched tube whose id matches the od of the mount.
