This is true

The brand "hilti" has a nail gun meant for penetrating concrete and various dense or solid objects which requires a .22 caliber round obviously there is no bullet to be fired, but the .22 caliber round uses its energy and transfers it to the nail to drive it into whatever..

I have seen my friend do this for fun (at a construction site at plywood) and that would EASILY kill a person.

That's like saying cars are designed to be collected. They're designed to transport people from one location to another. A gun is designed to fire a round at a high velocity over a given distance in order to penetrate and object and cause it damage.

I support gun rights. I enjoy firing them. But I am constantly amazed at how retarded some gun advocates are. Stop convincing yourself they're for collecting and shooting paper targets. It forces people to question the intelligence of some gun owners, which is a scary thought considering they want or currently own a deadly weapon.

I know plenty of gun owners who shoot their gun at a range and lock it up unloaded until next time.

Are they doing it wrong?

Out of the more than a dozen firearms I have only 2 were meant for protection the others simple poke holes in paper(and so far the other 2 as well). None of my guns have been shot outside of a shooting range.

Some guns are meant merely to shoot targets(skeet guns,competition pistols and most rimfire firearms).


Design aside thats what legal firearms are used for almost all of the time.

I used to keep a little .32 auto in my bedside table, but it disappeared when a couple of high school kids decided to kick my door in and steal my sh*t. I drove up and caught them mid-heist, but the kid in the house bolted out the back door and was never caught.

Now there's a .32 auto out there with my name on it - in some punkass kid's pocket.

May not be a possibility in your state but this is how I do it.

All guns in the safe except my carry weapon which is on my at all times. I grab my full sized pistol out of the safe when I get home.'

I feel alot of guns are stolen from the home/car when they could be safely in someones pocket.

That's Chris Christie logic (when he agreed to hiking the tolls.) Putting guards in schools will cost the government money and mess with their budgets. Putting gunmakers and gun stores out of business is private funds, so who cares.

Ban students. Students these days are dumb anyways.
