My local forum is going to a protest at the state building (3 hours north), we have atleast 200 members going. We are anticipating 2000+ people.

Actually several anti gun bills were shot down in VA today... They were not amused by his AK stunt.

Good. I am PRAYING that NJ doesn't pass any new legislation. I know Christie likes the AWB, but I don't want magazine laws being passed. We get f***ed here enough. Please, no more.

Being in this thread Ive noticed some of the most vocal gun advocates on this forum live in an area that pisses all over your right.

I dont post much because it doesn't really cross my mind much in a place where I dont have to worry as much.

Just move.

Its a shame but some anti gun laws keep me from moving to some places I might want to otherwise live(NY,CA mainly).

it really isnt that simple. most of us just cant pick up move across the country on a whim. we have obligations to family, jobs, and to our friends/loved ones. We have a life up here. it is hard to transplant your entire family and finding a job(or two) from across the country. so dont make it sound as simple as "just move" like there is something wrong with us for living in NY. as much as the gun laws suck here, it is still our home..

There was thousands of us at the same time and same day at the capital building.
