To echo what others have said, when I started at the bank that I work for (5th largest in the country) I had 4 weeks vacation on day 1 with the option to buy an additional week on a pre-tax basis. Also, we get 6 sick days and 12 bank holidays (today being one of them). Sound like you worked at the wrong place.

Everywhere I have worked has given me at least 14 days from hire date, if not I negotiated those additional vacation days.

You have a sh!tty self entitlement problem and must be lazy... I treat every job as if I'm a consultant, I negotiate a high compensation package and then invest into assets and take control of my own life.

The "truth" is that you intentionally stated she was "thrown out" the window not because it's a fact, but because it makes the situation sound even worse (like it needed any help) and you hope that will sway people to your biased view.

I didn't go to a rockstar school and even I'm smart enough to recognize that.
