after wearing a 42mm watch, I don't think I can do anything smaller than 40

^ I hear ya. They have some 5s in that size range, but then you're into the $100+ pricepoint. Bought a weekender a while back for sh!ts and giggles and it's just looks funny on me (being 6'7").

Kinda stuck on getting a hamilton at the moment though ... seems like a good watch company at the right price point

I've been really pleased with my Hamilton (Jazzmaster Maestro). I'll probably pick up another for casual wear in the future (this Pilot Auto has caught my eye).

The black and orange face really caught my interest (hamilton khaki I believe)
Don't think I can do a 44mm though
Need to try one on ... or find something similar

I think they have a field watch in Ti that is black PVD that is 42, but doesn't have orange on the face.

But yeah the orange really pops

Which is why I ordered it

I tried on a diff 44mm hamilton watch during lunch
It was totally doable so I went ahead and ordered the black/orange with the rubber strap

Hamilton Air Race GMT.

They redesigned it a few years ago. The original design, I think, is better- but also more difficult to come by. The pic I posted is the original. You can see the current version on hamilton's website.
