I'm confused. Did you mean to say that Bush gave the Bush era Tax Cuts, Obama extended them in his first term, and now they are expiring?

No.

I'm saying that Obama gave everyone a temporary tax cut after he took office, and that temporary tax cut has now expired. The tax cut disappeared because republicans refused to raise taxes on the wealthy.

My paycheck is le lighter. Wish the government would rid SS or reform it and stop using it as a personal CC.

I'm aware of the reasoning for the tax rate to come back. I'm speaking on the behalf of the people who are b1tching.

Regardless if the SS tax was temporary or any reasoning behind its bump back, it is all moot.. People were told their tax rates will not increase and their tax rate increased. Are you saying Obama's campaign is a prescription drug commercial and at the end he rambled some last second fine print in there about SS tax coming back? Do you really think half the ass wipes that vote are really capable of understanding why or how that tax bump came back?

This why entitlements suck because once you give it is hard to take it back.

You won't see me blaming everything on Bush. Never have. He was far from a great POTUS, but he wasn't the demon that liberals make him out to be. I even voted for him



Also, as a side note, Obama and Dubya are strikingly similar.

Got a 3% raise this year... but after taxes (that increased) I only got like a dollar extra to my take home pay
