My Ride: 2002 M3
If anyone local knows someone interested, I'm putting a feeler out for my car. I'll trade straight up for a 335i (may add cash as as well).

2002 M3 SMG. All options except Nav. Good maintenance records, I'm the second owner and it currently has 85k miles. Tasteful mods including a high end set of iForged wheels (MSRP is $1100 each, without tires). Also a MAJOR bonus, it has a SiriusXM radio hardwired with LIFETIME subscription.

$17,500.

PM me your email and I can send pictures if interested.

Do you have a Facebook? PM me your info and I can have you added to the local Euro group pages. I think you will peak more interest on there than on this thread, in terms of potential local buyers/enthusiasts.

There's a guy in Overland Park that's parting out a black 328i, I'm wanting the rear bumper for my new aero kit if its not cracked or gouged up. And I'd rather not drive all the way to KC again for a bumper. Lol.

Well, I think I have some pretty good news that some of you will like.

I got the OK from the wifey to start looking hard core for a new car, we've established a budget of $35k (I was hoping for more but I will take what I can get at this point), so now I'm looking.

My original plan was to find an e92 but after looking it seems like for my budget I'm going to be stuck with an 08 (maybe 09) with somewhere around 50k miles.

So I started thinking. Why not get an e46 M3 that's modded. I can get an 05-06 with 30-40k for mid 20 to high 20's. I can get a supercharged e46 M3 for 35k or less. So I think that is my new plan. I'm now looking for a supercharged low mileage e46 M3 and I couldn't be more excited.

The last part is, and don't shoot me, it will be a SMG.

Buy mine! Buy mine! Mine isn't an 05-06, but it is an SMG, 85k miles and I'm only asking $17,500 obo, so you'd have PLENTY of cash left over for any mods you want.

HAHAHAHA, Na not this time. I just want a street monster that will kill it at the track. I can take a 450+ hp e46 M3, throw some MCS 2-ways on it, and smash my old M3 not to mention everything else that would be out there on track. Plus the more I look at the e92 I would have to spend 5k before I would even like the way it looked more than a stock e46.

Now I'm not saying I won't go full retard down the road but until we get have 3 cars again this will pretty much be my daily.

I'd really like something with lower miles. Do you have a build journal anywhere or would you be willing to PM me your build sheet.

PM incoming, though keep in mind, my car is nearly stock, so it won't be too detailed.

From what I've researched the actual transmission itself holds up fine. It's the SMG pump that fails regardless of power and is like $3k to fix.

Yeah.

Ruben the SMG is just a normal manual transmission with a computer controlled hydraulic gear selector.

Yeah I think this M3 (if I can find one) will be more up your alley with 500 ponies to the wheels.
