330xi tire mixing

I need front tires on my 03 330xi and i would like to upgrade to a 225/45/17's over the stock 205/50/17's. The issue is i have a 3 month old rear right and the rear left has more than 50% in 205's and would hate to ditch them. Accoridng to tire calcuators the 225s 24.97 dia and 205s are 25.07 dia. This would be .2 MPH diffrence at 60mph. Would it be a bad idea to place the two new wider & tallertires in the front only or should i really go and spend the extra ~$300 for all 4 new and eat tossing the 3 month old rear tire. How touchy is this GM transaxle? Thanks.

Keep the same overall diameter, brand and model of tire at all four wheel positions.

Rodger. Ill rotate the low tread tires to the rear until i get all 4 in 225/45. Thanks.

Side note, does tirerack have military discount?
