I make that so often.
I usually fry the whole slices, get a nice crust and then put it in at the end...but I see where you're saving washing time with one pot makes it even easier.
I also drop the egg in near the end and don't stir it so it becomes like a poached egg.

It's a "sauce" for citrus chicken. Basically butter, dill, lime juice, and the brown stuff left from cooking chicken.

Appetizer here in Ocala, FL. 1 lb of peel & eat shrimp at Stumpknockers. Escargot, cat fish, fried oysters, scallops, hush puppies, crab cake, fried shrimp.. And washed it down with a microbrew ale. We don't get good seafood in Illinois, so that's all I've been having down here it's going to be sad going back.
