If you don't like the Facelift front end (coupe or sedan) it's because you're jelly.

The only car that would look worse as a facelift is the M3. Conveniently they never made it that way.

The pre-facelift sedan is the most dated looking of all E46s, thanks to the down-turned corner lenses.

IMO facelift coupes look way more feminine. With the pre, i think it's just a much more aggressive look.

It's all personal opinion, but there are many pre-facelift coupes on here that have been modded and look awesome. Personally, I looked for a long time for my replacement 2002.

For the money I would do some maintenance and get some wheels. Maybe an M-tech bumper? Sometimes I want one but I like the original one, too.

Do what you want but I think you could do a lot more for a lot less than face lifting it.

I think the facelift sedan can look great. Solidjake's car is a good example of one with a tastefully modded front end.

How would a facelift M3 look different from your car, minus the side gills?

I think facelifted sedans look great! Better than prefacelift sedans. But I hate facelift coupes the headlights are ugly.

I actually might prefer a pre-facelift coupe to the facelift. Don't get me wrong, the facelift coupe is definitely more modern and the lines flow better, but I don't think pre-facelift coupes look half bad. Especially with an M-Tech II kit. Sedans are another story. Pre-facelift sedans look very dated.

One confused car. The M3 bumper looks bad to me, even on the M3 (I'm aware how that sounds)

I absolutely love the look of my stock bumper, and yes I'm probably one of the only people you'll ever hear say that.

Yes, it's been done. I've seen it done to an M3. That's one expensive facelift, those headlights are a grand alone, and if you don't want an annoying error light, you'll need a new LCM.

Don't you have the pre facelift sedan bumper? On my phone so can't see. If so, then you're not alone. I like mine too
