Passenger side headlight acting up, help!!

I am pretty sure this problem started happening around the time that I installed my HID foglights. Periodically my passenger side headlight will not come on when I turn on my headlights. When it happens ive always been able to turn off the car and turn it back on and it may take a couple times, but it comes back on. Earlier today my headlight went out and I havnt been able to get it to come back on since. Has anyone had experience with an issue like this and where should I start with my troubleshooting? Thanks!!

swap bulbs from right to left to isolate the problem. if the problem doesn't move, then swap the ballast. if the problem doesn't move, it's the ignitor

Thanks for replying, first time I think I've ever got a legitimate one. I ended up going to a buddy's place later that night and when I left around 11:30 it popped back on. It sounds like it could definitely be an igniter problem so I may order one and keep it on standby. Once again, thank you. Good s**t

well your problem is kind of general so that is why i'm suggesting you swap the components so you could find out exactly what's wrong. the igniter is a bitch to get to as you need to take apart the headlights to get to it. i'd hope for either the bulbs (cheaper and easiest to replace) or the ballast (more expensive, second easiest to replace) lol
