325xi rear coil spring replacement
I have a cracked rear spring. Do I have to be carefull seperating the perch and the body to get the springs out & in? Don't want to damage the rear drive shaft, or differential. thanks, george

You have to be careful not to push the suspension down too far, or you can damage the axle. Might be smart to take it loose from the diff first.

Unbolt the bottom of the shock, push down on the rotor, remove spring.
