V-CSL or OEM CSL boot lid

I am planning to replace my E46-M3 ZCP, existing boot lid with either the vorsteiner V-CSL boot lit single carbon fiber weave or OEM CSL boot lid which is made of sheet metal.

My car is in Interlagos blue, so would it make sense to buy the V-CSL boot lid and have it re-painted in blue because its already finished in carbon fiber. Would painting an existing carbon fiber boot lid with weave pattern, would the finish come out good?

Also the pricing estimates I got from my guy, the V-CSL single side carbon fiber boot lid is more expensive than the OEM csl boot-lid. I have a quote for 1200 for the OEM CSL bootlid and around 1600 for the V-CSL. Surely the V-CSL boot lid provides more weight savings but Im just confused because it has the weave pattern.

you can paint CF and you should to match your car. A black car could get away with it, or just the roof on any color, but blue...no.

So this is the part in question:

Yep, Thanks for your comments. You are right, finished carbon fiber parts should be left as they are for example carbon fiber roofs look great with the weave pattern but not the boot lid especially when the car is blue
