323i

A photo of my all stock 2000 323i. I was running errands the other day and she just looked so good in this parking spot that I was compelled to take a photo.

Nice car man. New headlight lenses would really refresh it.

Thanks. Considering it's almost 13 years old and has 132,000 miles on it, it has held up great! No breakdowns (knock on wood), and has proven itself to be a reliable car!

I thought about angel eyes, but decided against it. Any suggestions?

I'd avoid the AEs, unless you plan on modding the car out more. The aftermarket AEs are just too much for a stock E46, unless it had the MTech I/II package.

With that sedan, I'd consider upgrading to the 17" style 44s, grab some new headlight lenses an buy all chrome kidney grills and your car will look extremely clean cut. And you'll maintain the stock look and feel. I'd say you can buy all those things for less than $650, too. Just keep checking the FS forums and eBay for some decent low curb-rashed wheels. You can find them with decent tires for less than $500. Grilles can be purchased for less than $60. Lenses are pretty inexpensive too. Either way, it's an E46 - it'll look great unless you go out of your way I ruin it haha.

Also, I have clears on my car but with orient blue I'd stick with the ambers. Looks so nice!

Thanks for the info. I'll probably just start out with the grilles and lenses...I've looked at all kinds of wheels and decided to hold off for a while (may be getting an E90 soon anyway), but I suppose after 131,000 miles some new wheels wouldn't hurt!

Yessir they look great in that picture! It's amazing that such small, inexpensive upgrades can make such a huge difference in the cars appearance! Are those fog lights upgraded too?

Indeed. The fogs on that car may have new lenses, but it's running the same setup as you. With those three changes, your car will be transformed.

Your car looks just like mine. I'm also thinking of getting a set of the Style 44's too.

44's are great. I have a friend that has them on his 04/2000 328i (tiag) and it looks so good.

The car you found on google looks fresh; definitely some interesting upgrade ideas to ponder.
