Holy shlt.

Is there any history that republicans won't try to revise?

The ground invasion of Iraq was wholly owned and initiated by BushCo on the pretext of "imminent threat", "mushroom clouds", and "smoking guns".

Stop lying.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_Resolution

21 of 50 Democratic senators voted against the resolution: Sens. Akaka (D-HI), Bingaman (D-NM), Boxer (D-CA), Byrd (D-WV), Conrad (D-ND), Corzine (D-NJ), Dayton (D-MN), Durbin (D-IL), Feingold (D-WI), Graham (D-FL), Inouye (D-HI), Kennedy (D-MA), Leahy (D-VT), Levin (D-MI), Mikulski (D-MD), Murray (D-WA), Reed (D-RI), Sarbanes (D-MD), Stabenow (D-MI), Wellstone (D-MN), and Wyden (D-OR).

Am I missing something? I don't see Kerry, Clinton, Feinstein, Pelosi or any other big name heavy hitters on the list that opposed... Hmmmmm. Odd.

And this again, because it is so unbelievable.

And one person that agreed with you, before you agreed with yourselves...

While Congress did approve the Iraq War, and can be interpreted as a bipartisan vote, if you look at the voting numbers of Congressmen, Republicans far outweighed Democrats.

Same could be said about Obama and his administration about Benghazi. Republicans are saying he and his administration lied, however once you pick apart the chaff and understand it, I think it's more of faulty information and people spoke too soon. Seems like a double standard to me.

Not necessarily. Read the book Hide and Seek: The Search for Truth in Iraq by Charles Duelfer, who was on the UNSCOM/Weapons inspection team. They found no evidence prior to OIF. Talks about all the missteps and what other countries believed as well.

Of course you didn't.

Most of us bought BushCo's manufactured intel. Some of us were bright enough to figure it out. Some of you weren't.

Odd.

Most of you bought manufactured intel? Directly from Bush himself? Bush created the idea to go for regime change, and pushed the agenda hard, all by himself. The stupidest person to ever walk the face of the earth in your eyes duped the nations best and brightest that you support time and time again.

I see. It's all so clear to me know. Not only did bush make 9/11 happen, but he also fooled the world into believing a story. He got everyone to go along with it, even though all these other people were pushing for the exact action he made happen, years earlier.

I gotta hand it to you. I have not laughed this hard in years.

When things go wrong, rival political parties blame each other, and call each other liars as it suits them.

Congratulations on your loyalty to your party. I hope the lack of proof of WMD and the Treasury's negative balance never shake your faith.

You might want to tone down the laughter. It makes you look insane.

I'm shocked he made it to 2012.

If he drove a flat black minivan, some rightwing lunatic would have shot him already.

eh, the two wars have certainly taken their financial toll, but so have healthcare, social security, and other welfare/entitlement programs in the US.

True. Which offers a better return?

Food, healthcare, and shelter for US citizens, or bombs for brown people that were never a threat to us?

at this point, I think our government should be smarter about our foreign policy by way of being more surgical in our military operations overseas. Given the nature of the threat, sometimes I wonder if it would be better to use a scalpel than a hammer. What I mean by that is using small units instead of a large ground force occupation. With the money saved I believe America needs to pay off its deficit, and invest in infrastructure, education, technology, and so on - including reducing dependence on foreign oil and/or finding alternative means of energy.

I agree.

Obama's drone strikes are a good example.

I agree. There have been over 5 seperate pieces of legislation for the rebuilding of infrastructure that went no where in congress (the house specifically). The effort has been made but partisan politics prevents any of what you mentioned to happen.
