Do you know how many hours it took to do it? I am plan on showing this DIY to me electrician/friend to see how much he would charge me.

I also have SMG paddles in my steptronic, will it still work?

here is my shifter. we used a MDCT out of the e9x M3. same wiring as Delmarco (thanks)

Its more the time involved in determining the pinouts and I required building a circuit board to convert the signals so they could be displayed correctly.
