Agreed! I just shook my head.

We did so many movements with so many different grips and isolations and I just focused on my form and really getting excellent contractions. I think I got some cardio in because of how much head bobbing and air drumming I was doing with my music. What an incredible day, and a re-motivating day for the rest of my training. Total workout was about an hour and 45 minutes of constant moving.

Edit: I really do think manifesting my mindset of "I'm a beast and going to move this weight" just made everything feel lighter today.
Unleash the beast! The beast can move mountains.

And here are 44 dips at my body weight after heavy front squats, heavy military pressing, and 4 sets of weighted dips with 70 lbs.

That's a ton of weight. I always go down to my chest though. I have to do my dips still.

I never do it that way. Wayyyy too much stress on my rotator cuffs. It's parallel for me on every press movement.

No! I just asked one of the people I workout with to film it. Generally I workout alone though.

I'm certainly nobody's fitness guru, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a mistake. My gains are amplified so much when I'm lifting with a friend. With a spotter, I'm able to get out those extra 2 or 3 reps with assistance that really leave me with a burn

I maxed at 145 I think. I repped 130x5x3 but currently my "press" is a 120lb clean and pressx8 so there is some leg involved. I'm going to move up weekly if I get all the reps.

I think it depends on the mind set. I personally would half ass things at times if I didn't feel like I had to answer to my friends, my garage gyms fb page, and you guys here. It may sound really gay but I really get motivated by saying I'm going to do things and doing it.

and lol at the poll. Just like a credit score tread, no one is going to admit when they're bad at something. We all look like super heroes here.

I got 22 after heavy bench / pushups... no vid because asking randoms at gym to film you is one way to become "that guy".

I remember when I couldn't do a single dip 2 years ago... no joke.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

He then proceeded to ask me to record him doing squats. I couldn't believe that the guy interrupted me so that I could record him as he completely focked up his squats, lol.

If that's in a row on the rings I'm pretty impressed. Especially since you're new on them. Or am I assuming?
