Headlight replacement

What's the easiest way to replace the standard headlight on a 323i? Spin it? I'm afraid to break the 12 year old plastic that holds it into its housing.

Just spin it counter clockwise to loosen the headlight socket then pull the whole thing out, the bulb sits in it. Simply pull the dead bulb and put in the new one but don't touch the glass on the new one.

For HIDs, it's a little different.

Yea, you have to take out the black plastic cover from the back, turn the bulb holder and replace the bulb.
