Unfortunately no...in my endless research I've read that the inability of the drivers to install on Windows 7 could have something to do with the digital signature, or lack thereof, of the drivers. I've done everything from downloading bypass software to disabling it from the boot menu but I still get the Code 10 error

If only I knew someone with Windows XP! Jeff, how were you able to install the drivers? Or did you even need to?

I didnt need to....just plugged it in and used it. Ive sent it to dozens of people as well, no issues. Not sure what you have going on there....

Hmmm...well if it makes a difference, I've got a miniUSB cable routed through my glovebox that I'm using. The black box is still located behind the unit and not removed from its harness. Should the car be on/off? Should the black box not be hooked up? When I plug the cable into my laptop, nothing happens.

bingo.....there is your problem, unplug the ibus box from the car.

UPDATE: Igo Primo Navigation Program.

Working with Dynavin we are now able to install licensed iGo Primo on our Dynavin units. This program has long been a favorite of the "hacker community" and now Im glad to say we can now offer it to everybody in a legit legal way. They are available on our website. The program is on an sd card. The naviextras.com stuff is for later, after you already have the program.

Is it possible to use a USB hub on wince?

I recently installed a D99 Win in my car along with the Wince patch. I noticed there is no option in the main settings to adjust the screen size...only the position/brightness. Any help with this? Makes the windows desktop extremely difficult. Thanks in advance.

Hi, are Dynavin planning on upgrading their old version of android and outdated cpu, ram etc at any point? Andrive units at www.andrive.co.uk have Android 4.0.4 and a 1.2Ghz Dual core and 1Gb ram...whats the advantage of Dynavin when these units are now available?

well.....I dont know what dynavin might have in the pipe but their position so far has been "if it aint broke..." I realize this makes the android units eventually obsolete but thats not something I control. Frankly the regular Dynavin units running iGo Primo are the right unit for 80+% of customers I run across, for the rest who are seeking something more advanced, something to hack, etc.... you will need to weigh your options carefully.

as for the "other units", the link you posted is to an enco unit, just take a look at the 4.0 thread here in this forum and see if that is something you are up for......for a dedicated few it might be what they are looking for, but most dont have the programming skill and are not interested in that kind of thing. As that thread demonstrates, there is A LOT more to making android work in a car stereo than specs.

It's usable most of the time. If you've got direct glare on it, it's bad. I don't mind it much, but there are times that drives me crazy.

Not likely.....not with the prevalence of wireless streaming options for smartphones (including SiriusXM).

This is Sydney, I purchased a D99+ from you a few months ago and I just saw that iGo Primo is now legally available. I currently have a iGo 8 version that I am using instead of the Sygic one I originally got with the unit but i would like to get the iGo Primo. I understand it is available from your site, can you please send me the link because I checked your site and I didn't seem to find it, maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Please guide me like a 5 year old I would really like to know how I can I get this for my WinCE model. Thanks a bunch....

haha....its on all the product pages....just scroll down.....But if you are overseas you will need to email me to order it, I have to manually put together international shipments as the shipping, customs, etc... is a little more complicated.

Since you are in the UAE you would need the mid east maps in addition to the program that we have (ours just has North American maps). Once you get the program you can go to naviextras.com, download their "toolbox" and add any maps you want, direct from iGo. For a fee of course....cant help you there.

In my experience the screen can wash out pretty bad in the E46, especially the verts as the screen is angled up toward the sky. With that said however, I dont hear many complaints about visibility much anymore (mostly since the D99s came out), I assume this is due to the higher contrast colors on the D99 and D99+, mostly white letters on black backgrounds, making glare less problematic.

OR everyone has just accepted that an LCD with sunlight is going to have some visibility issues no matter what you do.....
