Drive -- Inside Koenigsegg Series

Not sure if other people are following this 9 part series, but it's been amazing so far. Pagani and Koenigsegg are the poster-worthy hypercars of this generation

The last two videos are my favorites so far. That interior is to die for

he took his first steps in the world of business in his early 20's running a trading company called Alpraaz in Stockholm, Sweden. Alpraaz exported food from Europe to the developing world. The success of this venture gave von Koenigsegg the necessary financial standing to launch his chosen career as a car manufacturer.

Seems like he is self made to some extent.

I have huge respect for the man. Not only is he self made (made his first car by convincing sponsors/companies to give him parts since banks wouldn't finance him), but he take part in all aspects of the car, and is genuinely passionate about all these new technologies. IMHO, Pagani, while a brilliant man, and obviously a talented designer, IMHO isn't on the same level as Kristian in terms of pushing the envelope and creating something new....hell, they don't even make their own engines. Now, nothing wrong with that, but I maintain, Koenigssegg is to me what supercars USED to be...until they started making more money from tshirts and keychains rather than cars.

If I win the lottery, that will be on order for sure.

It truly is a great series. The drive channel on YouTube is really pretty awesome. This part of it certainly doesn't disappoint either.

i have so much work to do but had to drop everything to watch this the attention to each minute detail was better than sex. goddamn the swedes and their ability to make things extremely perfect.

wish i could see exactly the same type of vids for the Enzo, 458, Aventador, and Zonda Huayra...Bugatti Veyron SS too. Just the detail on the CF air intake pipe I just want to live in a tent outside this factory.
