I spoke to a guy a few weeks back who was looking to buy that car....he had the car checked out.....wasn't good at all.

That's why it's cheap and hasn't sold yet...

......or you could just buy a CSL instead of driving around in an unroadworthy illegal car trying to convince people its better then a CSL

Got bored and did some research on that CSL.
it was sold on grays online badly damaged, every panel was damaged, there was rear axel damage and apparently the rear suspension broke up into the rear of the car as well. Apparently sold for 33k? Basically it was a write off but didn't actually get written off if that makes sense. I could only imagine how the guy repaired it. Anyway after reading that I would stay away, it's an expensive car that would only cause headaches.

Saying that I would still take a CSL over a modified M3 any day, just not that one haha.

Id buy it on one condition.. I get to race a Golf GTi MK5 during the first test drive.. if I win, I'll most likely buy it pending PPI results

The only thing in that list that would be illegal is the seats which is engineerable.

Your better off asking before making statements about things you've never done. You'll learn more.

http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/sho....php?p=9251723

The highest bid at the time was 33k... I think it may have sold for a little more though.

OP, it was advertised for $90k in November '12 lol. Offer the guy 55k.

Wow! Thanks for all the help guys particularly on that csl which I was very keen on.

I've been offered some really nice cars via pm so just talking to the owners and hopefully one will work out ok.

For those that track their car what is the smg box like on track?

I also took a 1m for a test drive yesterday and that was pretty awesome too! Much more than a e46 m3 though.

Thanks again!

Lol what cars do you have to know real cars? Considering I own one of the fast accelerating production cars on the planet and every car I've ever owned has been modified and my daily driver makes over 900rwhp I think I have a little bit more of an idea than someone saying standard cars are better.

The SMG box is an absolute dream at the track! It really comes to life when you start pushing it, blipping on downshifts, really fast shifting in S6 etc.

I also found that it was great that you didn't need to worry about shifting down too early or missing gears etc. because the SMG will only let you shift down if the revs are low enough.

What car do you have making 900rwhp.. Please don't tell me it's a ute!
From your sig i can tell you want a d1ck measuring contest so here we go

2013 Audi A1 supercharged turbo sportback
2012 Range Rover evoque coupe SI4
2009 E92 M3 DCT
2012 Ferrari 458

So do I qualify to know what real cars are? Should I throw in my street and race bikes too???

We should have a race around the cotter see how your pos 900rwhp goes against the 458.

Whenever I see big rwhp figures on a pos like yours all I think is what an idiot....or he must be from Canberra. I guess you fall in both categories
