FS: cd53 Business CD + USA Spec pa-12

I upgraded my head unit about a month ago due to black friday sales and impulse buying. I left my pocket a bit empty and a cd53 sitting in a box in my room. The USA Spec pa-12 was bought September 9 so it's almost exactly 4 months old. I never even ran it through my car, it just sat behind the trunk liner with an ipod plugged in since i never change it anyway.

The CD player works flawlessly and I never had a single problem with the USA Spec pa-12. I'm asking $175 shipped. Keep in mind a new ipod interface alone costs $120.

Have a 2002 330I...has stock business radio, need aux feature....New to BMW....would this unit swap with my head unit without any needed mods and give me aux ability for mp3?

^ unfortunately this unit doesn't do mp3 and aux. its only sat ready.
If you want aux/mp3 look for radios with production date of 04+. 02/Sept to 03 is mp3 capable but not aux.
I have an 04 i may be selling. thinking of upgrading to nav unit.

***according to post above 2003 units are mp3 capable. I never tried to play and mp3 disc but this is a 2003 unit***

actually, the head unit just sold and i still have the usa spec.
