Maybe that's why I will try and buy the metal bracelet model initially. If I want to swap, at least leather/rubber is cheaper than the bracelet to get afterwards.

Normally, this would be the way to go. Unfortunately, there are only a few AP Roo's that they offer on a bracelet, and you still have to pay a premium for it. There is a $1700 difference in msrp between the bracelet version and the leather version.

Breitling pulls that **** too and I think I was quoted an additional $1700 retail to get one on a bracelet, lol. Suffice it to say, I never even look at getting a Breitling other than the Emergency model.
Hard to find sucks but you know the rubber/leather isn't going to be $1700, lol.

Just like a SS Rolex Daytona...impossible to find because they rather make a 1000 models in precious metal to 1 in SS.

Unfortunately, it's no different than a car. Msrp starting at $33,465. Go find me a car that's $34k. Hell, go find me a car for $36k. Most of the cars on the lot will be $38+. Everyone is just trying to get you in the door then upsell the **** out of you.

What you guys opinions on breed watches. I found one I like for $100, $300 off msrp! Edit: just bought it, feeling good about this hehe. Read a good review on the watch, I got the breed racers men watch. Like that it has a rubber strap and carbon fiber dials!

Never heard of them, but for $100 you can't go too wrong.

I forgot to say, all the models were displayed with Bracelets but the price displayed as the leather band price. this was before I was into watches.
