Hello all- best all round speakers for metal?

Hello everybody,

The speakers in my 323ci were blown somehow from the previous owner and I think it's time to replace them- what would be the best 200-300$ speaker set up for metal (though I also listen to classical and others)

I know very little about car audio, so please educate me as well haha, thanks

Hmm... for metal you may actually want poly/paper constructed woofers, and silk or textile dome tweeters. I'd assume metal (the music) can be very fatiguing (tiring) to the ear. I'd look into JBL on the low end. Stay away from anything that has a "mylar tweeter".
