There are many factors that play a role in what is and isnt an issue. Without knowing OP, you cant say whether or not he has any problems.

He asked a simple question. Was he going to die because of his blood pressure. The answer is no. Who knows what else is wrong with him, but his blood pressure numbers are not deadly.

OP, the bp reading isn't really of immediate concern, however I would suggest going to the doctor for a check up and maybe obtaining maintenance pills (bp pills). I don't know if you usually get that reading or if it was just out of nowhere but what I'm trying to get at is preventing long term damage to your blood vessels. Constant bombardment of high blood pressure will cause problems for you down the road. Eating less salt will help, but still, I suggest you go to your doctor for a check up. and with regards to what you posted, the diastolic isn't considerably high but the systolic is. In our field we really pay more attention to the systolic more.

Just to post an update: I did not die.
I did see a doctor, my BP readings at the doctors office were 120/70 measured over a 5 minute period. He said nothing to worry about and to keep an eye on it for the future. I was pretty anxious/nervous when measuring it at the pharmacy and he said those things are notorious for being inaccurate.
