Wow, sorry to hear that bro. You have been having some **** luck with your phone.
Ironically, I don't think it's uncommon. 9/10 people I know have no problems with their 5, but my one friend who started with one problem phone- has had many problems at this point- if that makes sense. Dunno man. |

Three days into learning my new phone.
Two questions: - In my BB's calendar in day or week view, if there was a calendar entry earlier or later than the hours displayed on the screen, a little arrow would be at the top or bottom to indicate there was an unseen item. That way my dumbass would know to scroll up or down. There doesn't seem to be such an indicator in the iPhone calendar and that seems so easy and important it's hard to believe it's not available. Is there a setting or preference I can turn on for that? - The BB had a light on the front/top that I could set to blink if there was a msg, missed call, whatever. If I'm out of the room for 30 minutes, and walk back in, I could tell from across the room if there was something I needed to look at. How do you guys handle that with the iPhone? TIA for tips from the grizzled vets.

Been great other then that. It's just the speaker for the speaker phone and Siri. Probably my fault honestly. It sits in my dusty baseball bag during practice everyday. This one is way more scratched up anyway haha

Check your settings. There is an option to have Siri trigger when you raise your phone to your ear. You may have that checked.

It's only when I press my home button. It's like it things I'm holding it down too long. But Siri doesn't fully activate. It'll just make that bong.... Bong sound.

try restarting your phone. if that doesn't work, backup to icloud or itunes, and then restore, and restore your backup.

It happens to me, it's like the phone lags when you press the home button and thinks your holding it.

evasi0n is out; however, Cydia is getting demolished at the moment, so you may want to hold off for a bit.

If its jailbroken, I remember there was an app that would keep flashing your camera flash for notifications. That drains battery though.
