Sorry guys; car sold -- strong interest. Went to a good home (E30 owner moving up). Thanks all for the views. OK, so nostalgia strikes even as I move up: reluctantly letting go of my "intro to E46" 5-speed manual transmission 325i. You never forget your first . . . BMW.
TiSilver on Sand leather sedan, recently reconditioned to pass Maryland and Virginia (long story) inspection. I'm now moving up the BMW food chain, so she unfortunately has to go. Like most everyone here, I've got considerably more invested in the car than the proposed selling price, and yes, the selling price is a little higher than private seller book . . . . Both of those circumstances tend to "come with the territory" of cars owned by E46 fanatics. $11,500 OBO to serious buyers who would cherish her.

Exceptionally clean inside and out; interior is really mint; exterior was 8/10 when I bought, and has been wet-sanded/polished in the last 1,000 miles; the PPI shop offered to buy if I didn't.
71,500 -- low miles for a 2004
Plenty of clutch, brake and tire life
Second owner; clean Carfax
Still have both sets of keys, manuals, and original window sticker.
Small parking lot dent/ding (about the size of a quarter) under rear license plate
Headlight lenses could use some more buffing (I may do it myself if I remember to buy an extra tube of toothpaste and get a warm afternoon)
Sunroof slider is MIA -- the sunroof works just fine, but the slider failed and was removed a while ago. (Tinting would be a quick fix if it bothers you, but I always keep my sunroof slider open, so I don't notice it and keep forgetting to do anything about it.)
A few pixels gone out of the nav system LCD screen; nothing that interferes with use, but I had the LCD replacement DIY ($150 part and some patience) on my list for this summer
Full Maryland inspection two months ago, so all the basics are confirmed good for the road
Meyhle control arms and new bushings less than 1,000 miles ago.
New OEM carpet floor mats (silly small thing, but the rest of the interior is good enough that it made me happy to have them new again)
New valve cover gasket at 71,000 miles
New OEM motor mounts and new OEM windshield washer pump December 2012
2013 navigation system maps update
New driver side mirror glass (a little interior surface rust on the edges of the reflective pane was in my peripheral vision and finally got to my latent OCD)
Rear window OEM body trim replaced December 2012.
Wet sand/polish detail December 2012
Bottom line: Exceptionally clean and well maintained daily driver/fully stock BMW 325i 5-speed with lots of miles left to give. If you're just beginning your climb on the BMW ladder, this is a sweet place to start. Debated doing mods, but ultimately went for an M3 instead.
